Planned Giving

You can leave a living legacy to make sure that the

St. Clair Butterfly Foundation continues to provide therapeutic creative arts programs for disadvantaged youth. Planned giving typically comes from a donor’s assets, and can be either outright or deferred.

Some types of planned gifts:

  • Wills and Bequests

  • Trusts: Charitable Lead Trust or Charitable Remainder Trust

  • Life Insurance

  • Retirement plan assets

  • Donor Advised Fund

We recommend that you consult with your tax or legal advisor before making a planned gift. Please include our federal tax ID number which is 20-8917561. Also, please specify the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation.

The Butterfly Warrior Legacy

Butterfly Warriors are individuals who provide for the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation in their estate plans. This society reflects the Vision of the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation: “To end childhood trauma globally by providing all young people the tools to move past the past, overcome adversity, and realize their full potential to soar.”

Securities

There is one recommended way to transfer appreciated securities to the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation: Have your broker contact Michael Everett Hall, PLLC & Legal Counsel at 313-343-1581 to advise us of your gift.

We will discuss the gift with your broker in order to complete the transaction and make arrangements for disposition of the securities.
